Analog16 is proud to present the iconic Soviet-built LOMO Smena 8M, often referred to as the "AK-47 of film cameras." This robust and reliable camera is stripped down to its essential components: a lightproof box, a shutter, and a lens. Its simplicity is its strength, ensuring consistent performance with every shot.
The highlight of the Smena 8M is its lens. Unlike other components, LOMO did not compromise on quality here. The coated triplet lens design delivers stunningly sharp and well-contrasted images, with a touch of classic lomographic softness around the edges.
Key features include:
- Shutter speeds ranging from 1/15th to 1/250th of a second, with a B (manual or bulb) option.
- Adjustable aperture settings from f/4 to f/16.
- Flash sync/accessory mount for added versatility.
-Leatherette carrying case with neck strap
All cameras in our collection were manufactured before 1992 and may show signs of previous use. Rest assured, each camera has been meticulously tested and verified to ensure it functions perfectly, providing you with a reliable and authentic vintage photography experience.
