This robust and reliable camera is stripped down to its essential components: a lightproof box, a shutter, and a lens. Its simplicity is its strength, ensuring consistent performance with every shot.
The highlight of the Smena 8M is its lens. Unlike other components, LOMO did not compromise on quality here. The coated triplet lens design delivers stunningly sharp and well-contrasted images, with a touch of classic lomographic softness around the edges.

- Shutter speeds ranging from 1/15th to 1/250th of a second, with a B (manual or bulb) option.
- Adjustable aperture settings from f/4 to f/16.
